I mapped the route from Elkton to Turkey Point without giving a thought to the profile.
So close to the water (see second image at left), I expected a flat ride.
Instead, a seemingly incessant series of hills confronted me on the outbound leg, hills I of course knew I'd be facing on the return (third image at left).
